REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA RELACIÓN CUERPO Y ESCRITURA EN EL TEATRO CONTEMPORÁNEO DE AMÉRICA LATINA
RESUMEN:
En el teatro contemporáneo de América Latina, cuerpo y escritura hacen parte de un tejido del cual son al mismo tiempo materia y sentido. Al renunciar con frecuencia a la mímesis como único fundamento de la escritura dramática y en algunos casos a la idea misma de obra teatral, las teatralidades de hoy le acuerdan un lugar privilegiado al cuerpo, como medio y como tema, o si se quiere como soporte y como pregunta y en ese proceso han definitivamente expandido la noción de escritura teatral.

ABSTRACT:
In Latin America’s contemporary theater, body and writing belong to a fabric of which they are simultaneously matter and meaning. By frequently renouncing mimesis as the only foundation of dramatic writing and in some cases renouncing the idea itself of theatrical play, today’s theatricalities, give the body a privileged place as a means and as a theme. In that process, they have definitely expanded the notion of theatrical writing.

RESUMO:
No teatro contemporâneo da América Latina, corpo e escritura fazem parte de um tecido do qual são ao mesmo tempo matéria e sentido. Ao renunciar com frequência à mimese como único fundamento da escritura dramática e em alguns casos à ideia mesma de obra teatral, as teatralidades de hoje lembra um lugar privilegiado ao corpo, como meio e como tema, ou se quer como suporte e como pergunta e nesse processo têm definitivamente expandido a noção de escritura teatral.
